PITTSBURGH, January 28, 2020– State Rep. Adam Ravenstahl, D-Allegheny, today announced he will seek re-election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
“I have been extremely honored to serve the residents of the 20th Legislative District,” Ravenstahl said. He has served in the State House since 2010. “I am proud of my record of fighting for our schools, our environment, our workers and every resident in the District,” Ravenstahl said. “Ensuring that every single citizen in this Commonwealth receives a fair shot to succeed will remain a top priority of mine.”
Also important to him is the ability to bring back resources to every corner of the District. “In collaboration with other local elected officials, we were able to secure $10 Million in funding for the 20th District in 2019 alone,” Ravenstahl said. He attributes this success to his experience and the relationships he has formed. “Working in government is about getting to know people on a personal level and finding common ground,” Ravenstahl said. “I always try to stay positive and keep my focus on providing resources and great services to the residents of the 20th.”
I have lived in this District my entire life. This is my home. It’s where I was raised and it’s where we are raising our daughter. I would be honored to continue in this position and build on what we have started together.
The 20th Legislative District is comprised of Avalon, Bellevue and West View Boroughs. It also includes parts of Ross Township and portions of the North Side, Lawrenceville, Polish Hill and the Strip District.
“I have lived in this District my entire life. This is my home. It’s where I was raised and it’s where we are raising our daughter. I would be honored to continue in this position and build on what we have started together,” Ravenstahl said. Ravenstahl and his wife, Alisha, reside in Ross Township with their daughter Reagan.
